Marla Goodman – publication designer and illustrator
Hi, it’s me, Marla. I’m a publication designer. I live in Montana and work as a graphic designer, writer, editor and illustrator. In my free time, I organize community music and art events, and occasionally I perform as “Polly Vinyl, Art Thereminist!”
Over the years I have worked for various agencies and publishers as well as in the education, business and industry sectors. I’ve done ad layout, magazine layout, publication design, trade books, chap books, picture books, text books, presentation templates, product graphics, tee shirt graphics, packaging, labeling, and large format stuff like murals, billboards, train wraps, transit displays, back-lit signs and building-scapes. And web banners, of course.
As a freelancer I have the luxury of selecting smart, hardworking clients who are doing something worthwhile and value good work. I also enjoy doing pro bono and discounted work for worthy causes.
