However, it can be a chore to find the best readers. So I&#8217;ve been collecting my favorite Librivox books, to send to people who might enjoy them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I had the idea of creating &#8220;<strong>Little Free Librivox Libraries<\/strong>&#8221; featuring cards that people can leave\/take, printed with QR codes to some of the best readings on Librivox. You can download and print your own <strong>LFLL<\/strong>, or find an ongoing list of links to<strong><em> my favorite Librivox reads<\/em><\/strong> further down on this page. Feel free to post an LFLL on a local bulletin board or in your workplace!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PRINTABLE LFLL POSTER: <\/strong>This printable poster has QR codes for a few books and background info. (Or you can print just one side and fold the sheet down the middle but that&#8217;s not as fancy) These layouts are intended for Avery perforated business card stock, or print on regular paper and trim yourself. (The outer edges of the pages should be trimmed\u2014<strong><em>Trim 1\/2&#8243; off top and bottom; 3\/4&#8243; off sides<\/em><\/strong>\u2014before cutting the cards apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The &#8220;General&#8221; layout links to THIS PAGE. On the topic of sleep-inducing reads, I also recommend the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nothingmuchhappens.com\/stories\">&#8220;Nothing Much Happens&#8221; <\/a><\/strong>podcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/librivox.org\/alices-adventures-in-wonderland-by-lewis-carroll-3\/\">\u201cAlice\u2019s Adventures in Wonderland\u201d<\/a> \u2014Tell them the door mouse sent you!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/librivox.org\/about-orchids-a-chat-by-frederick-boyle\/\">\u201cAbout Orchids, a Chat\u201d<\/a> \u20145 star snooze!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/librivox.org\/highways-and-byways-in-sussex-by-e-v-lucas\/\">\u201cHighways and Byways in Sussex.\u201d<\/a> \u2014Proven effective as a sleep aid, yet somewhat informative. <em>(Contains some brief passages of disturbing British historical content).<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/librivox.org\/three-men-on-the-bummel-by-jerome-k-jerome\/\">\u201cThree Men on the Bummel\u201d<\/a> \u2014 Very funny but also very sleepy!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/librivox.org\/making-a-rock-garden-by-h-s-adams\/\">Making a Rock Garden\u201d<\/a> \u2014Amusingly dull!  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/librivox.org\/the-natural-history-of-selborne-by-gilbert-white\">\u201cThe Natural History of Selborne\u201d<\/a> \u2014 First rate mind numbing!<br>These are just a few tried and true selections, but a trove of beautifully read mundanity awaits you on Librivox.
